Pačir Spa

The Pačir medicinal water springs from 1400 meters below the earth’s surface. At the source itself, the water reaches a temperature of 72°C, while the temperature of the thermal lake is 28-32°C. The water is pink in color, containing a high concentration of sodium chloride, making the lake not only warm but also very salty and medicinal. The water is suitable for treating various ailments, recommended for post-injury conditions, skin diseases such as psoriasis, rheumatic conditions, urological and gynecological inflammations, and it alleviates high blood pressure and stressful conditions.

The surface area of the lake is 2000 square meters. The lake is shallow, with depth increasing towards the center where it reaches 1.6 meters. The bottom is covered with smooth stones that are very comfortable for the feet. The beach is well-maintained with loungers and umbrellas set up.

In addition to its medicinal properties, Pačir Spa attracts an increasing number of visitors primarily because of its color. The pink lake in Serbia, as many call it, is a true little oasis. This artificial lake is filled with saline, thermal, and medicinal water. The lake is open only during the summer months; in autumn, it completely dries up, is cleaned, and prepared for the next summer season. Since 2018, the complex has been further improved, and indoor pools have been put into operation, allowing visitors to enjoy the thermal spa all year round.

The medicinal water springs from about 1400 meters deep, and at the source, the water temperature is 72 degrees Celsius. As the water approaches the surface, it gradually cools to about 35 degrees Celsius as it mixes with pure well water.

The water is saline and contains about 21 grams of salt per liter, which is a similar amount of salt found in the Adriatic Sea. Indeed, Pačir Spa can be considered as the “pink drop” of the Pannonian Sea.

Pačir water has a certificate of medicinal water and is suitable for treatment:
